 Programs

The joys of music-making are for everyone, not just musicians.

It's never too early or too late to play music. Group music-making is a rich experience that is implicitly social, fun, expressive, creative and empowering. Whether it be in a clinical, workplace, school, retreat or general community setting, Rhythmosis' music programs are designed to provide experiences of music and music-making in a way that is enjoyable and accessible regarless of musical expertise, and bring participants in touch with a world of benefits on a physical, social, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

Music Therapy Programs

Rhythmosis provides group music therapy programs to clinical and community mental health organisations with a particular focus on social and emotional outcomes. Rhythm-based approaches are heavily drawn upon, however a range of music therapy techniques are used, including songwriting, multi-instrument improvisation, singing and movement to name a few.

Rhythm2Recovery

Bek is a teacher trainer and facilitator of the Rhythm2Recovery model, designed by Simon Faulkner, developer of the Holyoake DRUMBEAT program. The program uses specific rhythm activities combined with verbal reflection on a range of life themes relevant to a multitude of populations such as school aged children, kids at risk, adult and adolescent mental health populations, people suffering with addictions and trauma. The model has a focus on personal strengths, positive relationship skills, self-responsibility, mindful awareness, positive values and is solution-focused.

Workplace Drumming Programs

Whether your workplace is a corporate, educational, social service or health-care setting, drumming is a great way to build staff relationships, cameraderie, co-operation and collaboration, build creativity, decrease stress and workplace burnout, help with change management and conflict resolution and add an element of fun and playfulness into your workplace.

Community Music Programs

Rhythmosis offers a range of programs to the general community including drumming wellness programs for community events, retreats and gatherings, school programs for children from preschool to high school, or relaxing live music meditation events.
